The features begin with the Di622's "Clip & Shoot" compatibility with nearly any Canon digital SLR (see chart below). Once your flash is set up, it can be used for countless applications... use it to light up a dark room, reduce shadows, eliminate red-eye, capture fast-moving subjects, or even use as an off-camera fill flash to bring extra impact to your subjects.

In addition to fully automatic TTL (which controls the amount of light with amazing precision and stability), this flash unit also covers a wide range, from 14mm (with built-in wide angle diffuser) to 70mm. The Di622's bounce flash feature allows it to be tilted 90 degrees upward and 270 degrees horizontally, and a built-in bounce panel is ideal for filling in shadows. Other features include wireless slave capability for more creative lighting applications, an energy saving system that helps keep batteries from draining, variable power settings, an autofocus assist beam, and a flash power lock system (FE lock for Canon).
